Thieves and smugglers have taken the Royal Cup from the pharaoh’s tomb and it’s up to your intrepid explorers to recover this artifact. This escape room is sure to be a treat for kids who particularly enjoy learning about the intricacies of ancient history.

Or, if your child prefers something more modern, you might want to try the Let’s Shine! K-pop Stars In The Room escape room instead. Captivate Escape Rooms

This is another popular choice for escape rooms for kids in Singapore, and with good reason. Captivate Escape Rooms has been lauded with stunning praise, boasting an impressive three thousand perfect, five-star reviews on Google. They feature a total of eight different escape rooms, each tailored to a unique theme that will definitely appeal to kids and even some of your older teens.

ONE Intervention in particular recommends Alice In Puzzleland – Captivate’s novel take on the classic children’s story. Here, players are transported into the exciting and dangerous world of Puzzleland. Faced with the terrifying threat of the Red Queen yelling ‘Off with their heads!’, players must scramble to find the White Rabbit’s pocket watch so that they can get back to their reality. This escape room features ingenious puzzles that challenge the players’ creativity and observational skills in a thrilling race against time.

Or, if your children are constantly on their phones, they might better appreciate the escape room Hansel & Gretel. In this exciting spin of the age-old fairytale, Hansel and Gretel have successfully managed to escape the witch’s cottage. However, on their way back home they come to the chilling realisation that they have left behind their phone in the witch’s hut. Players of this escape room must gather all their wits and cunning in order to make the difficult choice of whether or not they go back for their phone… and if they do, they must use every ounce of skill at their disposal to make it back safely.

Escape Room @ Science Centre Singapore

We bet you didn’t know that the Science Centre also offered escape rooms for kids! They in fact have three excellent choices that you can choose from – The Museum of Humankind, Shangri-La and Dr. X. Each of these escape rooms challenge the players’ skill at science, mathematics and logical reasoning. They must be able to keep calm and solve various creative puzzles within the time crunch, or risk being trapped in the room… possibly forever?

While each of the three escape rooms offered have their own talented merits, ONE Intervention believes that The Museum of Humankind deserves its own special acknowledgement. This educational escape room has a delightfully riveting premise: The year is 2500, and you are one of the last human beings alive. Extraterrestrial beings – the Zarkins – have captured you and placed you on a display in The Museum of Humankind. It’s up to you to use your wits to escape and outsmart the Zarkins, or risk being trapped in the Museum.

The Escape Artist

The Escape Artist was first established in 2013, so it holds the honour of being one of the pioneers of escape rooms in Singapore. Throughout the years, they’ve done their best to provide the best quality of escape rooms for kids, teens and adults. Their rooms are immersive, ingenious and altogether startlingly creative – not for the faint of heart to attempt!

ONE Intervention recommends Gatecrash, which takes place in the sketchy (ha!) world of underground art. Players have daringly robbed a renowned art collector’s stash of priceless artifacts. However, in doing so they have accidentally triggered a dangerous trap which has locked them in the collector’s basement. It’s up to them to get out as soon as possible, because the collector returns in precisely sixty minutes…
